Can my band play at Coachella? Can I DJ at Coachella?
We’ll contact you if interested. Thanks!
Will you be posting set times in advance?
Yes. Set times will be posted on the website and mobile app a couple days before the festival. Set times will also be available in the festival guide passed out on entry.
What's the best time to arrive?
What time does the festival end each day?
The festival usually ends around 12:30a-ish each night… give or take a few.
What are you doing to ensure my safety at the festival?
Security and safety are of utmost importance. We work hand in hand with relevant law enforcement and public protection agencies to help ensure the safety of our event, but because of those very same concerns, we are unable to publicly comment on any specific actions which are taken.
I'm a photographer (for a big, stuffy important publication, for a hip online news outlet, for my own blog, for myself, etc.) . How do I make arrangements for a photo pass?
Photo passes will be distributed at the discretion of the festival and cannot be specifically requested as part of your press application. We will provide syndicated photos from our on-site festival photographers for use.
I'm a member of the media. How to I make arrangements for a media pass?
Please visit our Contact page and select “Press/Media Inquiries”.
Are you hiring workers, volunteers, photographers/video people, etc for the event?
No. But, thanks for checking! If we change our minds or anything opens up we will post about it.
Can I pass out flyers or promotional items inside the venue? What about outside?
No. Anyway, marketing is totally overrated… and you should be trying to use less paper.
How do I become a food vendor? ... or a non-food vendor? I have questions!
Food Vending: Please visit our Contact page and select “Food Vending”
Non-Food Vending: Sorry, but we’re not seeking any non-food vendors and there is no waiting list. We will post here if we change our minds. There’s no reason to contact us about this.
I'm going to the festival, but not camping on site. Can I join in on all the cool stuff happening in the campgrounds?
During the festival, you can. But, there is no parking available for you on Thursday night. If you can find another way to arrive (e.g. taxi, rideshare, shuttle, bike, walk, cartwheel, swim, astral projection) and are wearing your festival pass, you are more than welcome to visit on-site camping. However, the best way to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the fun in on-site camping is to purchase an on-site camping spot. Party!
Can I use passes, wristbands or the Coachella name to promote my website, product or event?
Can I sell my [insert crap I want to sell] in the parking lots, camping areas or venue?
No. If you don’t have vending approval from the festival organizers, your items will be surrendered/confiscated.

No. Only wear one wristband at a time. If you wear more than one wristband, the scanners will be unable to read them properly and you will not be able to enter the festival.
Is a 3-day pass three separate tickets?
No. A 3-day pass is a single wristband that is worn for the entire weekend. Please review the Pass Info Required Reading.
I bought passes from a "friend" (scalper, third party, some dude off of Craigslist that I'm telling you is my friend). How can I verify that they're valid and will work?
Only passes originally purchased through Coachella’s official ticketing partner can be guaranteed as valid.
Do not buy passes from a 3rd party or scalper. We will not offer customer service, authentication or support for any passes purchased through any 3rd parties. You will only know that your third party pass is valid when it successfully scans into the venue each day. Activating a wristband does not guarantee the wristband is or will remain valid for all three days.
Scalped passes are subject to cancellation at any time without warning.
Can I give my pass to a friend? How?
Sure! Hand your package to your friend when it arrives or have your shipping address changed to theirs. Make sure your friend activates their own wristband. Tell them to follow the directions in the package.
(You will still show up in our records as the original purchaser. That can’t be changed.)
Please note: If your package is unable to be delivered for any reason whatsoever, you, the original purchaser, will be required to pick it up from will call as no alternate will call pickups are allowed.
Please review the required reading on our Pass, Order & Shipping Info page.
My friend got their order or got an email notification that their order is coming and I didn't get mine yet. When should I start panicking? What should I do?!
Please review our Shipping Information.
Wow! There are a lot of artists performing. Does my wristband let me see all of them?
There is no guarantee. Many artists will be performing a the same time and some areas will have limited capacities. You should plan accordingly and arrive early if there’s a particular performer you really want to see. Also, the lineup is always subject to change whether due to volcanoes or any other reason.
Is my only option to have my passes shipped? Can I pick them up somewhere?
Shipping is the only option available for purchases made in the USA. International orders have the option to also choose pickup at will call, which is an off-site location near the festival.
See our Will Call & Box Office page for more info.

What defines a legal guardian?
A legal guardian is a person who has the legal authority and corresponding duty to care for the personal and property interests of another person, called a ward. Usually, a person has the status of guardian because the ward is incapable of caring for his or her own interests due to infancy, incapacity, or disability.
Most countries and states have laws that provide that the parents of a minor child are the legal guardians of that child, and that the parents can designate who shall become the child’s legal guardian in the event of death.
A legal guardianship is obtained through court order, and the legal process for doing so is initiated by the prospective guardian.
Please note: An older sibling, older friend or friend of the family does not automatically count as a legal guardian. A legal guardian is someone who would be held legally responsible for you by a court of law. Generally, a legal guardian is the one who takes care of the minor when the minor’s birth-parents are no longer living, in jail or have lost their legal rights.

What do I need to bring to the Festival to Receive my Locker Key?
Please print your Paypal Receipt. You will see it on your screen when you order the Locker, and Paypal will email a copy to you. Please bring a Paper Copy of the PayPal Receipt printout with you to the Festival. If you have trouble printing it, please contact Contact Locker Lou.
What happens if I forget my Paypal Receipt?
Please print and bring a hard copy of your receipt to avoid complications. Now is the Time to Repeat the LockerLou Mantra: “I will Print and Bring my PayPal Receipt.” “I will Print and Bring my PayPal Receipt.” “I will Print and Bring my PayPal Receipt.”
You will always receive your Locker. We are just trying to be efficient because it will take you longer to check-in without a Paper Copy of your Paypal Receipt.
Are you going to mail a Locker Key to me?
No! Please bring your PayPal Receipt to the Event, and we will exchange it for your Locker Key or Padlock at our Check-In Tent, which is inside the venue.
Do all the Coachella lockers typically sell out on-line?
Yes. Each and every one of the lockers has been rented on-line for the past eight years – 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 a week before the Festivals began.
Do you Guarantee to hold my Locker Reservation?
Yes. We will hold your Locker Reservation throughout the entire Festival until you claim it.
Will you explain the Key/Padlock Deposit one more time?
Let’s use the Medium Locker as an example:
*PayPal charges $55.10.
*You bring the PayPal Receipt to Locker Check-in.
*You receive a Locker Key and keep the Key for 3 days.
*When you return the Key to us you immediately receive $20 cash back.
*Your Net Total Cost for the Medium Locker for three days is $35.10.
*You’ll leave the Festival with $20 in your pocket – gas money for the drive home.
But, I really hate lines...
We all hate lines. Please help us be efficient. Please Print your Paypal Receipt and hand it to one of us at the Check-In Tent.
Where is the Locker Check-In Tent?
Signs will show you the way to our tent and our location will be in the Festival Guide. Event Staff can point you in the right direction, and we’ll post a map you can download – as soon as one is available. If you’re lost just call: (800) 827-1692 and we’ll direct you to the Lockers.
Will I be able to access my locker any time I want?
YOU MUST HAVE A WRISTBAND TO THE EVENT TO ACCESS THE LOCKERS. Our current arrangement with the Festival allows you to access the lockers as many times as you wish WHILE YOU ARE INSIDE THE FESTIVAL. When the event is over each night, the grounds are closed, and you will NOT be able to access the lockers until the following day.
Can I pay for my locker at the event?
Maybe. There is a limited supply of lockers – and all of them are available on-line right now. Every Locker will probably be reserved on-line before the Festival begins. No one knows for sure. If the lockers sellout on-line (as they did the past 8 years), there won’t be any Lockers available to rent at the Festival – unless someone cancels at the last minute.
However, if you reserve now, we will guarantee your locker for the entire event.
If I can't make it to the show or decide I don't need my locker reservation, can I get a refund?
Yes! Please reach out to Locker Lou by email or in person at the event as soon as your plans change. No Refund will be issued after the Festival is over.
What happens if I lose my key?
If you lose the Key, you will forfeit the $20 deposit. You will receive a new Key and will need to pay another refundable $20 deposit. Once you return the new key, you will receive the second deposit back. If you find your “lost” Key, you’ll receive your original deposit back too.
Will I be able to charge my phone, tablet or laptop?
Yes, we’ll have a Charging Station inside our Tent. The Charging Station will have a limited number of Private Laptop Lockers, with electrical outlets, which will be available to accommodate phones, tablets, cameras, and laptops.
Private Laptop Lockers allow our customers to charge mobile technology devices in a secure environment. They provide temporary storage while you recharge your phone, tablet, camera, or laptop, etc. for approximately an hour. Each individual compartment locks and unlocks using its very own patron key. The door is 4.5” High with a 13.5” Wide clear opening. The shelf is 16.5” Deep.
The Charging Station will be located inside our Tent. There is no additional fee to recharge your device after you rent Any Size Locker. We only ask that you limit use to one hour, so we can share this complimentary service with as many Locker Guests as possible. e.
Can I change my clothes in your Locker Tent?

Can I get more than one key for my locker?
Only One Key is issued for Each Medium and Large sized Lockers, however, ALL Extra-Large Lockers will be equipped with Combination Locks.
We use “Set-Your-Own Combination” Locks for customer convenience and increased security. We have changed our procedures to reduce the wait and promise to be even more efficient in 2018.
Do I bring my own padlock?
NO! You cannot use your own Lock. You must use the Lock provided by the Locker Company. There is no additional charge for the use of our Lock, which remains the property of the Locker Company. A $20.00 Refundable Lock Deposit is collected when you reserve the Extra-Large Keyless Combination Locker on-line.
Here’s how it the Deposit works: PayPal charges you for the Extra-Large Keyless Combination Locker. You bring the PayPal Receipt to Locker Check-in. You receive a Pad Lock and keep it for 3 days. When you return the Lock to us you immediately receive $20 cash back.
If someone had a Locker at a previous Festival, will the same combination open my Locker this weekend?
No. That’s like asking if the last winning PowerBall numbers are a good play today.
All Locks are removed from the Lockers and returned for the $20 deposit at the end of each Festival. All combinations are re-set to “0000”. The locks are placed in a bin and one is chosen at random when you check-in. You then personally create your own four digit code for your Lock. LockerLou’s friendly advice: If you’re looking for a quick score, forget the Lockers – play PowerBall.
Will there be vegetarian food at the festival? Vegan? Kosher? Gluten-free?
Yes to all of the above! You’ll be able to get your fill of all kinds of great stuff.
Will there be gender-neutral restrooms?
Yes. Gender-neutral restrooms will be available and may be used by any person regardless of gender identity or expression.
Will there be sinks and flushable toilets available?

There will also be free, twice filtered, water refill stations. Each station can accommodate multiple people at a time and there will be up to 16 refill stations around the venue and up to 10 refill stations in camping. GULP!
